How to Make Spicy Korean Fried Chicken with Maangchi | Sean in the Wild
Korean Fried Chicken

Ingredients (Serves 10-12 as appetizer, 4 as entrée)
2 lbs Chicken wings
½ cup Potato or Cornstarch
⅓ cup All-purpose/Plain flour
¼ tsp Kosher salt
¼ tsp Black pepper
¼ tsp Baking Soda
1 Large egg
Corn oil for frying
Sauce (For 18-20 wings)
2 tsp corn oil
⅓ cup ketchup
⅓ cup corn syrup
¼ cup Gochujang (Korean red chili paste) -->
2 tsp White distilled vinegar
1 tbsp Toasted sesame seeds
3 garlic cloves
* optional - a little bit of Chili flakes
* if you cannot eat / do not like korean spicy chili
Maybe you can replace it with BBQ sauce, but the
taste will not be Korean style
* it put Baking Soda, so the batter is super crispy
